The Continent is an area in Cultist Simulator, representing Western Europe. It is a vast region home to many locations which bear the mark of the Secret Histories upon them.

Vaults[]

Raveline
  • Chateau Raveline: The cursed castle of the Comtes des Raveline, who have long since passed. The Ravelines claimed descent from the first Sun-King (rather than France’s own Sun King, Louis XIV) and were rumored to take on the shape of wolves.[1]
  • Orthos Wood: A dark wood where a great masked Crow once perched long ago, now filled with clans of cannibals. The heart of the forest likely served as the Roost of the aviform Hours at least once.[3]
  • The Vandershaaf Collection: A small museum closed to the public since a “peculiar rapture” in the Painted Chamber, a room with walls depicitng scenes from the major Histories.[4]
  • Forman House: Family home of Filip Forman, helminthologist and antiquarian, who appears to have been studying Worms and those they inhabited. Some of Forman’s subjects escaped, and though destroyed, the building remains haunted.[5]
  • Key-Hunter’s Garret: A crooked house located in Vienna, known by adepts as the White City, where an eccentric hunter of “imaginary keys” resided, recently devoured by a great serpent and their records destroyed by flame.[6]
  • The Unnumbered Stones: Based on the Carnac Stones in Brittany, these stones hidden deep in the woods still contain many secrets and offerings. The creature known as Kitling Ripe, a Name of the Velvet, may be drawn here as well, to dance in the night.[7][8][9]
